Okay, I’m a couple of days late, but May the 4th be with you! Yes, I’m a Star Wars geek. In fact, in my story “Butterflies and Goodbyes,” which is a science fiction fantasy romance included in LOVE AT DAWN, the initial setting is a diner named “French Toast and Roast” and was conceived as Oga’s Cantina from Star Wars meets a southern Waffle House. So I’m happy to celebrate (even belatedly) with you!

WRITING & PITCHING UPDATES!
First, I’m very excited to report that while I’m still wrapping up some final edits on book 1 of my sisters in DC series, I started brainstorming on book 2 with my story coach, and I’m so excited about the direction it’s heading in!
Secondly, I took my regular escape to Kiawah early last week and was able to work on and prep for my pitch sessions at the Washington Writers Conference.
Lastly, I attended the conference this Saturday, pitched three agents, and received three manuscript requests! I couldn’t be more thrilled and can’t wait to get my book in their hands.
So, in summation, feeling good about all the good energy in the force these days!
