About Skye

Skye has always wanted to write. She grew up in a household of strong women from four different generations: 1913, 1941, 1968, and 1981. Now, she has two young daughters. Her stories of scrappy heroines fighting falling in love reflect the resilient women she’s known and how sometimes the scariest and bravest thing you can do is allow yourself to love someone, but how these women deserve their happily ever after.

Skye Knight writes stories about scrappy heroines fighting falling in love. Before achieving her dream of being a full-time writer, she worked for 15 years as a cable TV executive. She lives in Washington DC with her husband (and college sweetheart), her two spunky elementary school-aged daughters, and her dogs: mini sheepadoodle Huxley and labradoodle rescue Sasha.

She hails from South Carolina y’all (but was born in New Hampshire) and escapes to her happy place in Kiawah Island, SC, as much as possible.

To stress bust, she plays tennis and takes pilates reformer classes. She also has been known to pick up a paintbrush and creates in watercolor, acrylic, and oil.
