Only 2 Days to Get Craving My Roommate
That’s right. After Saturday, October 26, 2024, you can no longer get a copy of Craving My Roommate, which includes my first steamy contemporary romance short story, “Frenching My Flatmate.”
I’m sentimental about it because this is the first piece of romance writing I’ve made money from offering, and that’s special because it reflects that I’m genuinely chasing my dream of being a romance author, and it’s not just a hobby! Also, this is the first thing I’ve written that has made me blush and second-guess publishing, so there’s that! Ha!
I’m proud of it, and I hope you enjoy the seven chapters representing the seven days you’ll spend with Julien and Izzy in my short story. It’s such a quick read, and the hero and heroine are so relatable because we’re all afraid to put ourselves out there after being hurt, and most of us need a little help taking the edge off!

It’s All About FAMILY Short-Story GIVEAWAY!
My first sweet contemporary romance short story, How the Cookie Crumbles, is currently available through this great giveaway, chock full of stories featuring family as a significant part. Family can be by blood, marriage, adoption, found, or even pretended.
You can grab it here if you are not a current subscriber to my newsletter:
However, if you already subscribe to my newsletter and haven’t had the chance to grab your copy yet, you can access it HERE.

Keeping My Eye On the Target With My Novel
As mentioned, I have a great strengths coach who encouraged me to write and sign a contract with myself on what “ready to go” means regarding when it’s time to let go of my novel and start the “on submission” process querying agents. I’ve been making significant progress, and my goal was to finish it before this newsletter goes out, knowing it has to be released today, Thursday, October 24.
The photo below is from last weekend’s clay shooting with friends in Upperville, VA. It was a blast, and I look pretty relaxed here. So, do I need to pick up the gun and finish the hunt? Or is it time for après novel completion celebration drinks? Answer below.

Wah wah. Well, I have it in my sights. I’m still cranking through edits, but I am only doing what is included in my contract myself. I’m determined to wrap it before the election because I have a big trip abroad afterward. Don’t you worry—I’ll take this little birdie down, and as always, thanks for all your love and support!
