The Trailer for my Story!
I made my first book trailer! It’s for my steamy romance short story, “Frenching My Flatmate,” which will be released THIS TUESDAY in the romance anthology CRAVING MY ROOMMATE—pre-order it now because it will only be offered for 99¢ for a limited time. However, there WILL BE paperbacks available if that is what you are holding out for!

For the trailer, it was a fun little experiment. As I worked in TV for fifteen years, it sure reminded me how awesome my promo producers were. I would have loved to have spent more time on this trailer, but lately, I feel like all I have been doing is marketing, and I am dying to get back to writing.
So, fair warning: A week after release, you may see me around less as I go to the beach and into my writing hole. I’ll still try to write a blog and newsletter once a week, but I will probably create far less Instagram content unless it’s just a quick share of my stories.

My Visit to the Ripped Bodice Romance Bookstore in Brooklyn
For those who don’t know, the Ripped Bodice in Los Angeles, CA, was the first romance-only bookstore. I was one of the original Kickstarter supporters (Backer #195) in October of 2015 before it opened. Since I worked in TV, anytime I was sent out to the studios, I would make a pilgrimage to visit the store and support them.
Since then, I’ve made sure to follow and support the over twenty other romance bookstores that have launched across the US. It’s awesome that there are so many now!
So, this last weekend in June, when I traveled to NYC to celebrate my 10-year-old’s birthday by going to see The Lion King on Broadway (which was amazing) and visiting some friends at their family home on Fire Island, I knew I had to swing by the new Brooklyn location of The Ripped Bodice.
I may have gotten carried away, as did my girls! We all bought books and stickers, AND thinking ahead, I went ahead and bought some fun items for the Fall Into a Book giveaway that I partake in every September. So make sure you join the Isn’t It Romantic Facebook group, and don’t miss that opportunity!
