About Skye
I’ve always wanted to write love stories. Growing up surrounded by strong women from four generations—1913, 1941, 1968, and 1981—showed me that resilience runs deep. Now, with two young daughters of my own, I see that same scrappy, untamed spirit in them.
My stories are for the women who fight falling in love—sometimes kicking and screaming—but find the courage to do it anyway. Because love? It’s messy, terrifying, and absolutely worth it. And every heroine deserves her happily ever after.
Before becoming a full-time author, I spent 15 years wrangling TV deadlines as a network executive. 🎬
These days, I live in Washington, DC, with my college sweetheart, our two spunky, school-aged daughters, and our equally scrappy doodles — Huxley 🐑 (mini sheepadoodle) and Sasha 🐾 (rescued labradoodle).
I escape to my happy place on Kiawah Island, South Carolina 🏝️ whenever I can.
When I’m not writing about scrappy heroines, you’ll find me on a tennis court 🎾, at Pilates ✨, or elbow-deep in watercolor, acrylic, or oil paints 🎨.
